	KAEFER Group becomes market leader in France KAEFER S.A., the French subsidiary of the KAEFER Group with headquarters in Bremen, purchased the companies WANNER SAS and WANNER Marine SAS from VINCI, the French building giant, on 2 July 2001. This acquisition has promoted the KAEFER Group to the position of market leader in the field of industrial insulation in France. WANNER has previously been exclusively active on the French market with a turnover approaching 65 million Euros in the year 2000 and a workforce of around 1000. "The WANNER takeover is an important step in the continuing internationalization of the KAEFER Group, which now secures almost 50% of its turnover from operations abroad", says Peter Hoedemaker, Managing Director of the KAEFER Group. With around appr. 4000 employees in over 25 countries, KAEFER achieved a turnover in the region of appr. 470 million Euros in the year 2000.
