52 galleys and pantries on the "Radiance of the Seas"

The "Radiance of the Seas" which was built at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, is the largest luxury liner to have been built in Germany. The catering for up to 2500 passengers and around 850 crew members is a top priority. For this purpose a total of 52 galleys and pantries were installed throughout the ship, which rises to a height of 14 decks. KAEFER performed the entire installation work connected with wall and ceiling panelling out of stainless steel, as well as a number of other services. It goes without saying that all work was carried out in accordance with the standards of "United States Public Health" (USPH).

Another interesting job was the ceiling panelling in the "Schooner Bar", the "Steakhouse Restaurant" and the "Italian Restaurant". Other KAEFER services included about 2,500 sqm of floating floors and around 2,400 sqm of deck soundproofing and damping as acoustic measures.
