| As of July 1, 2004, Jörn M. Fetköter will join the executive staff at KAEFER Isoliertechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Bremen. As the successor to Stephan K. Radermacher, who has left KAEFER to work for the HDW-Group, Fetköter will be in charge of the German operative business, working alongside Peter Hoedemaker, who will continue to supervise foreign business activities and Nobert Schmelzle, who, as head of the executive staff, performs all “holding functions”. Fetköter, the 41-year-old father of three children, looks forward to moving to Bremen. Having grown up in a Hanseatic city, he says he has “missed Northern Germany and its proximity to the ocean over the past few years”. After completing his studies in Hamburg, the industrial engineer initially worked as a power plant project engineer for Mannesmann. Then he joined Babcock in Oberhausen, becoming head of the executive staff of BBP Service GmbH. Here his main task was to set up services operations for industrial plants, in particular power plants and waste incineration plants. Not only is Fetköter familiar with two core areas of KAEFER’s business activities. Thanks to the experience he gained while working as an executive for his previous employer, SITA Deutschland GmbH in Cologne, a subsidiary of the French SUEZ Group with over 4,000 employees, he has acquired comprehensive expertise on business strategies and cost optimization. KAEFER’s advisory board and executive staff are delighted to have found someone who has the best prerequisites for supervising the national business on a difficult market, bringing in new ideas for the future and maintaining the success of the KAEFER Group. ![]() New national managing director Jörn M.
