KAEFER acquires Baltic’s market leader

	KAEFER Isoliertechnik (Bremen, Germany) acquired the majority in Termoizola UAB (Lithuania), the leader in the insulation market in the Baltic region with more than 400 employees in its subsidiaries in Lithuania and Latvia and a yearly turnover of around 6 Million Euros. The company, founded in 1962 and privatized in the beginning of the nineties, has an extensive experience in the Baltic region and in countries of the ex Soviet Union, having worked as subcontractor in western European countries as well. Key customers in Lithuania belong to the growing industries of power generation and refinery. The internal training system, conducted in Termoizola’s own training facilities and seminar rooms, ensures the high qualification of the employees. Moreover, the workshops are equipped with state-of-the-art machines. The scope of services of Termoizola includes: - Industrial insulation - Facades - Interiors’ finishing - Scaffolding - Anticorrosion - Refractory Managing Director Peter Hoedemaker remarks: "The acquisition of Termoizola is another step to the internationalization of the KAEFER Group. At the moment KAEFER makes more than 50 % of the turnover outside of the home country (Germany) and the strategic objective is to extend the international business”. The KAEFER Group has over 6000 employees in more than 30 countries having achieved a turnover of around 600 Million Euros in 2004 .
