| In 1918, when Carl Kaefer from Bremen founded his company, which specialized in insulation materials for the shipbuilding industry, he did so with the intention of improving insulation technology, thus enabling him to offer more efficient heat economy. Just how well he was able to read the signs of the times and act accordingly evidences itself in the rapid growth of the company, whose new materials and products, developed by KAEFER itself, soon began to draw customers from other branches of industry as well. New markets were accessed. Branch offices were established.
| | Carl Kaefer’s entrepreneurial philosophy has prevailed for generations and has shown the way into the future.
