Bremen, Germany. Poland is among KAEFER's fastest-growing markets. This dynamic development is expected to continue due to massive investments in the energy sector over the next years. To accommo-date the rapid growth, KAEFER has now strengthened its presence in Poland by acquiring TERMOKOR-BELCHATÓW, making it the third KAEFER company in this country. TERMOKOR-BELCHATÓW, which is ISO-certified, currently employs 120 highly qualified insulation workers. Its main business areas are thermal and acoustic insulation, corrosion protection and refractory.

The acquisition closes a geographical gap for KAEFER Poland. Headquartered in Belchatów, the new com-pany is located close to Europe's largest coal power plant, Belchatów PP. Poland's third-largest city, Lodz, is also nearby. Significant construction activity is planned at Belchatów PP, where the 13th block is currently being built and old blocks are due to be modernised in order to secure the country's power supply.

TERMOKOR-BELCHATÓW is an ideal addition to TERMOIZOLACJA, another KAEFER company in Poland. Both provide insulation for power plants and other industrial facilities, allowing them to identify and exploit synergies quickly. In addition, TERMOKOR-BELCHATÓW's experience in refractory provides new opportunities for KAEFER Poland in this area.
