Last week, our British colleagues attended the British Energy Coast Business Cluster (BECBC) Business Awards 2017 in West Cumbria and won two awards.
British Energy Coast Business Cluster (BECBC) is the West Cumbria forum for all businesses serving both the Sellafield site and other industries in the Cumbrian area.
KAEFER in the UK won Socio Economic Commitment to West Cumbria, sponsored by Balfour Beatty, and later in the evening they were awarded the BECBC Large Business of the Year, having been shortlisted alongside Balfour Beatty and Morgan Sindall.
Paul Hoyle, Business Unit Director states “It’s a pleasure and a privilege to manage such a committed team who throughout this year have constantly demonstrated KAEFER’s values at the highest level, with the ensuing mutual benefits to the local community.”
While Ian Tattersall, Managing Director, commented “We are delighted to receive these awards to add to our Magnox Chief executives award and safety awards from earlier in the year. It is recognition for the efforts of our Cumbrian Office and Sellafield site team in delivering our strategy to the benefit of our Employees, Customers and the wider Cumbrian community.”
